Four drafts for Symphony Nr. 3, op. 55, First Movement (1803)

These four drafts are found beginning at page 10 of the Landsberg 6, or Eroica, sketchbook of 1803, now held by the Biblioteka Jagiellonska in Krakow, Poland. Four separate long sketches for the familiar exposition material, including some startlingly different opening chords, are transcribed and contributed here by Gerd Prengel.
