While the final version is very different indeed, some of the rhythms of the sketch can still be heard in it, as well as the 32nd note motif. This sketch comes from page 9 of the Grasnick 1 sketchbook, held by the Staatsbibliothek Preussischer Kutlurbesitz in Berlin.
