How to Use This Site

Go to the search page, and look through the catalogs or the type of instrumentation to find the midi you wish to hear. Left-click on the highlighted title of the piece. This will take you to the informational page on that particular composition. There will be a link on that page to download the midi.

If you just wish to hear the midi, simply left-click that link. The midi will automatically begin to play. On the informational pages, we have given the size of larger files; some of the largest files may take up to a minute to load depending on your connection.

Saving MIDIs on a Windows Machine

If you wish to download the midi to hear it later, right-click that link and then save the midi on your computer. Note the name and where you saved it. Then when you wish to play the midi, simply open it using your Media Player, Midi sequencer or other multimedia software.

Saving MIDIs on a Macintosh

  1. Single click and hold down the mouse button on the link which says "Download the midi file"
  2. A menu will pop up, select the option labeled "Save this Link as"
  3. A window will come up asking where you want to save the file, etc. Near the bottom of this window, select "source" as the format.
  4. Hit the save button, and the file should be saved wherever you specified.
